hello and welcome!this is for my xiv warrior of light and includes some notes/artwork of her + azem wip notes! constantly adding and changing things for myka/azem, plz bear with me in this construction zone..
also i'm not a writer at all so please excuse my amateur writing skills...--charlotte

Notes on Myka

pronounced "mai-kah" not "mee-kah"
(she/her)

Myka is a Raen Au Ra and she has short, dark green hair. Her eyes are brown, with a golden limbal ring on her left eye, marking her "odd eye" which influences some of her abilities and notes her strong connection to Azem in this life. She has scales on her nose, forehead, and cheeks.Myka is outgoing and expressive as well as hardworking and determined. She is quite sensitive and takes everything to heart. She loves cute things and likes to sing/hum often.

Myka has picked up each class/job over the course of her adventures. She began as an archer in Gridania and mainly fights as a Bard.During her time in Ishgard, she felt the need to become more versatile as an adventurer and fighter in order to become a more reliable member of the Scions in times of need. Thus, she became interested in learning all classes that she encountered and slowly but surely earned a reputation for being a jack of all trades.

Myka's family line was part of one of the groups of Raen Auri who left the Azim Steppe and ventured into the valleys of Othard. To mark this event, their group chose a new title for themselves: "Azura" (sky blue). Azura represented their new lives as individual travelers united under the same sky. Later on, this would eventually end up becoming a surname of sorts for the Auri who also ended up venturing out further to other lands.When Myka was still very young, her mother had a close friend who would often travel to far lands and write letters detailing their travels: from the new sights they admired to the different cultures they encountered. This friend once returned to Othard to visit them and, as the friend was close to Myka's mother, they gave small souvenirs to their family. Myka was gifted a bracelet, which she adored and coveted. The gift, along with many colorful stories of travels in far off lands, led Myka to dream about having her own adventures and setting off on her own. Her parents supported her decision, but wanted her to wait until she was a bit older.Eventually, Myka joined her mother's friend on one of their journeys to the Black Shroud. Myka stayed with them for a year, learning about her new environment and picking up on skills using a bow to defend herself as needed. Soon after a year, her mother's friend declared that they were planning to venture off to a further land. Myka, who only just started feeling comfortable in her new home, decided that she would remain in the Black Shroud. After seeing them off, Myka ventured to Gridania to officially begin her own life as an independent adventurer.

  • Total RBF, looks intimidating (she wishes people wouldn't be as initimidated by her T_T)

  • Pretends not to know things and will feign innocence to get what they want

  • Loves to be silly and will dote on those around her and joke with them when possible

  • Totally in love with Hermes, but her duties as Azem often took her away for periods of time (on this note: when Myka appeared in Elpis, Hermes took it as a sign of affection, believing that perhaps Azem sent a familiar to watch over him while they were away)
